Memory upgrade on a Mac mini

I found two 1GB memory cards just laying around at home. My mac mini only had 1GB memory in total but can handle 2GB. So I decided to upgrade my mini!
This will probably void warranty but my computer is way to old anyway. I found a great video-tutorial that I followed.

Java 6 for Mac OS X

Apple has released Java SE 6 version (1.6.0_05) for OS X.
It is Intel 64-bit only so a no go for PowerPC and Intel 32-bit architecture.

Drag and drop into file-upload in Safari

Update: Unfortunately, Google decided to change the upload mechanism to a Adobe Flash-based uploader that makes this little tip useless in gmail.

One benefit for Safari over Firefox in Mac OS X is the possibility to drag and drop files into the “choose file” box (input-tag type=”file”).

iPhone SDK new beta and Infineon 3G chipset

Apple has released a new version of the iPhone SDK beta 3.
