Drag and drop into file-upload in Safari

Update: Unfortunately, Google decided to change the upload mechanism to a Adobe Flash-based uploader that makes this little tip useless in gmail.

One benefit for Safari over Firefox in Mac OS X is the possibility to drag and drop files into the “choose file” box (input-tag type=”file”).

    I do not get this “choose file” button in Safari3 in Leopard…in either Gmail2 or Gmail1…? Any suggestion?
