Java 6 for Mac OS X

Apple has released Java SE 6 version (1.6.0_05) for OS X.
It is Intel 64-bit only so a no go for PowerPC and Intel 32-bit architecture.

Does it uninstall truly?

How should I know… Trying to uninstall übercool (and extremely cpu-intensive) screen saver.

Even a broken MacBook Pro have symmetry

It is not a good idea to use a big ruler as a support for a roof window.
Notice that the bump is almost perfectly aligned to the center.

Adobe Flash is evil (☠)

Why can not Adobe fix the Flash plugin for Mac OS X!?
Flash is crashing my Safari quite randomly, almost every day. This is so frustrating!

I think I have tried almost everything

Re-install
Deleting preferences
Violence…

Does anyone have a solution to my problem!?
And why does it have to be so slow…

Only one thing to say.

Drag and drop into file-upload in Safari

Update: Unfortunately, Google decided to change the upload mechanism to a Adobe Flash-based uploader that makes this little tip useless in gmail.

One benefit for Safari over Firefox in Mac OS X is the possibility to drag and drop files into the “choose file” box (input-tag type=”file”).

LTPA without WebSphere or Domino

Nice post about setting up SSO against a LTPA domain without using a WebSphere Application Server or Lotus Domino.

This might become handy.
